Refund Policy

At Travelling Desi, we aim to provide our customers with the best possible travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, so we have established the following refund policy to ensure transparency and clarity regarding cancellations and refunds.


1. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation by the Customer:
    • If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges will apply, based on the notice period prior to the trip:
      • 30 days or more before the trip: Full refund minus a service fee of 3100 INR.
      • 15 to 20 days before the trip: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
      • 14 days or less before the trip: No refund.
  • Cancellation by the Company:
    • In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, or other emergencies), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future date.

2. Changes to Booking

  • Amendments by the Customer:
    • Changes to your booking (such as dates or trip modifications) can be requested at least 10 days before the trip, subject to availability.
  • Changes by the Company:
    • If we need to make changes to your trip (such as itinerary adjustments or date changes), we will inform you as soon as possible and offer alternatives. If no suitable alternative is available, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

3. Refund Process

  • Refund Timeline:
    • Once your cancellation is confirmed, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original method of payment.
  • Non-Refundable Deposits and Fees:
    • Please note that certain fees, such as deposits, administrative fees, or third-party service fees (e.g., airline tickets), may be non-refundable. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

4. Force Majeure

  • In the case of events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), refunds or rescheduling options will be offered based on the situation. Refunds may be subject to third-party policies (such as airlines or hotels).
